Cyber Sanskar: Innovative Online Cyber Training Awareness Program

About CollCom: CollCom, a renowned non-profit organization established in 2018 by alumni of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, is dedicated to empowering youth and fostering community engagement. With a focus on volunteerism, social responsibility, and skill development, CollCom addresses various social, environmental, and economic issues through its diverse initiatives. Our flagship project, Cyber Sanskar, is a testament to our commitment to creating a safer digital environment by educating individuals about cybercrime and safety precautions.

Cyber Sanskar Initiative: Under the Cyber Sanskar initiative, CollCom has developed an innovative, short, and crisp self-guided online Cyber Training Awareness program. This program aims to reach every corner of the country, regardless of distance, to raise awareness about cybercrime and provide essential safety tips.

Launch and Achievements: We launched our first Online Cyber Training program in July 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The response was overwhelming, with over 52,000 people enrolling and benefiting from the training in the last two years. As cybercrime patterns evolved, we recognized the need to update and enhance our training content to stay relevant and effective.

Redesigned Cyber Training: Our redesigned online cyber training program is now more innovative, simple, and informative, reflecting current cybercrime trends. It covers various cybercrime issues through:

• Textual Content: Clear and concise information about different types of cyber threats.
  
  
• Stories: Engaging narratives that illustrate real-life cybercrime scenarios.
  
  
• Short Awareness Videos: Visual content to enhance understanding and retention.
  
  
• Case Studies: Real-life examples to highlight the impact of cybercrime and the importance of prevention.
  
  
• Quizzes: Multiple choice questions and answers to test knowledge and reinforce learning.
  
  

Training Duration:

• Average Completion Time: 20 minutes.
  
  
• For Beginners: 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  
  

How to Participate:

1. Read Carefully: Go through all the information provided in the training.
   
   
2. Watch Videos: Ensure you watch all the videos till the end for a better understanding.
   
   
3. Attempt Quiz: Answer the multiple-choice questions at the end of the training.
   
   
4. Receive E-Certificate: Upon submission, a scorecard will be displayed, and an E-Certificate will be issued to your registered email ID.
