About the Internship

CollCom is organizing the Community Connect Hackathon 2024 to create an Android-based grocery portal that promotes healthy and organic foods while offering a personalized shopping experience for users.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a simple onboarding system for user registration via email, phone, or social media.
Collect user preferences such as dietary restrictions and favorite products for a personalized experience.
Create a categorized product catalog for organic and healthy foods with filters for user preferences.
Develop personalized suggestions and healthy eating plans based on AI algorithms.
Implement secure payment integration and delivery slot selection for orders.
Create a real-time order tracking system with automated notifications for users.
Design a loyalty program and referral bonuses for users.
Include a health and nutrition blog section for educational content on healthy eating and organic food.
Develop an admin dashboard for managing product listings, monitoring orders, and analytics.
Ensure the app is built using secure technologies like SSL encryption and OAuth authentication.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Android development using Kotlin or Java.
Experience with UI/UX design for mobile applications, focusing on clean, intuitive interfaces.
Familiarity with backend frameworks like Node.js, Django, or Firebase.
Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Firebase Realtime Database.
Experience with payment gateway API integration, Google Maps API, and Notification API.
Strong understanding of app security protocols like SSL and OAuth.
